Wozu unser Gehirn in der Lage ist zeigen nicht nur phantastische Gedächtnisleistungen, sondern auch Spitzenfähigkeiten z.B. beim Kopfrechnen. Über diesbezügliche Techniken und Leistungen wird hier diskutiert.

Die 7. Weltmeisterschaften im Kopfrechnen finden vom vom 23.-25. September in Bielefeld statt. Am 30. September-4. Oktober folgt an gleicher Stelle die Junioren-WM.

Wie üblich warten auf die WM-Teilnehmer Aufgaben in den bekannten Standardformaten (Addition von zehnstelligen Zahlen, Multiplikation von achtstelligen Zahlen, Wurzelziehen auf 8 Stellen genau, Kalenderrechnen) und Überraschungsaufgaben.

Die Zahl der Teilnehmer ist auf 40 begrenzt. Daher erfolgt eine Qualifikation auf Grund der bisher erreichten Ergebnisse im Kopfrechnen / Mentalsport. Entsprechende Nachweise sollen mit den Anmeldeunterlagen eingesendet werden.
