Hallo zusammen,
kennt jemand die Mnemotechniken von 'Hugo von St. Victor' ?
In 'De tribus" soll er u.a. geschrieben haben:
"In the storehouse of the heart, time and number measure lenght, while place expands the area in breadth so that thereafter other things may be disposed in their places. First, then, let us arrange persons in an order consistent with their times, extending them along the lenght of the line from its beginning. Next we shall indicate places in so far as the capacity of abbreviation allows, gathering in these places sufficiently from the universe."

Kann mir jemand kurz erklären, oder hat jemand ein Beispiel, wie man sich dies vorstellen soll: Personen, Zeit und Zahlen in einer Längsrichtung angeordnet?
Ich kann mir Zahlen oder Personen oder Zeit in einer Längsrichtung vorstellen - aber alles drei zusammen?
