Das mit den 2 verschiedenen Weltmeisterschaften finde ich nicht so gut. Und irgendwie kann ich die Ausrichter der Weinheimer WM auch nicht verstehen, dass sie diese WM und nicht zB World Cup nennen.
Daher will ich lieber bei der traditionellen WMSC-WM in Manchester teilnehmen und hoffe, dass es da im nächsten Jahr keine Missverständnisse mehr geben kann.

Big name sponsors line up to support the
World Memory Championships
PRIZE MONEY FUND ANNOUNCED
Tony Buzan, founder of the World Memory Championships, has just
announced three new big name sponsors for the 2004 competition plus
a memorable prize fund of £3,000.
The World Champion will receive the prestigious World Memory Trophy plus a Gold medal and a cheque for £1,000
The runner up to the World Champion will receive a Silver Medal and a cheque for £750
The third place winner will receive a Bronze Medal and a cheque for £500
Further cheques will be presented to the winners of the different memory disciplines.
All winners will be presented with an electronic version of the famous Encyclopadia Britannica.
The first of the new sponsors is the international Si Group. Si specialises in enabling mindset change in businesses through performance coaching, and has committed to supporting the event over the next two years.
Coming back once again as a sponsor is the Carta Mundi Group, manufacturers of the famous Stratus playing cards. They will be supplying all the playing cards used by the competitors – 547 packs in total!
Encyclopadia Briannica, itself no stranger to world records, has also had a long association with the World Memory Championships. This year they have agreed to present the winners of every discipline with an electronic copy of the latest Encyclopaedia Britannica.
For the first time in the history of mental sports, a female competitor is seeded as number one to win the 2004 World Championships. Astrid Plessl from Germany, currently ranked second in the World, lead in many of the events at the 2003 World Championships in Malaysia, but just missed the top prize, is determined to go for it this year. History could well be made, and a gripping final can be guaranteed

Ganz schoener Unterschied zu unseren Turnieren. Als Norddeutscher Meister hast doch 100 Euro bekommen Boris, oder? 1000 Englische Pfund...da sollte ich meinen Trainingsplan villeicht noch einmal ueberarbeiten, hehe. 
Ich muesste ja nur meine aktuelle Punktzahl von 2016 vervierfachen, da Astrid diesesmal die 8000 Punkte anstrebt, wie sie mir verraten hat. Kein Problem, oder doch??? 
Was gab es eigentlich an Geldpreisen auf der Deutschen zu gewinnen? Gunther hat irgendwas von 3000 Euro erzaehlt, aber hat er die fuer seinen Sieg von Herrn Kolb bekommen, von einer dritten Person, oder irre ich mich einfach?

Auf der Norddeutschen gab es keine Geldpreise. Auf jeden Fall nicht offiziell. Ob er mit Sponsoren oder so was vereinbart hat weiß ich natürlich nicht.
Ben Pridmore wird sicherlich auch auf 8000 gehen.

Wenn du das schaffst Boris, dann fress ich meine Jonglierbaelle aus einem perfekten 5-Ball Flash heraus - dafuer sollte ich wohl in meinen Trainingspausen gleich mal ueben 
- und werde Zeit meines Lebens nix anderes mehr machen, um deine neuen Rekorde alle zu brechen. An deinem Weltrekord in Woertern bin ich auch schon knapp dran - ueber 50% davon hab ich schon geschafft, naemlich 103 - also pass auf Und deine laeppischen 35 sek. in Karten unterbiete ich mit meiner patentierten "Flauwy-Hand-To-Hand-Snipping Technik" und fuer all die anderen Techniken lerne ich einfach Photo-Reading
